I graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2026 with a First Class MA (Hons) in Sociology, a Scottish undergraduate honours degree.
My main research experience is in quantitative sociology, particularly educational and occupational inequality in China. Using the Chinese General Social Survey, I examine how rural origin relates to graduates’ occupational destinations. The current study considers teaching and the differences between occupational status, prestige and labour income.
My course essays examine food assistance in UK food banks, algorithmic recommendation in music streaming, and the relationship between debt, labour and moral obligation.
